Darla's Gourmet Kitchen is based on my love for cooking.  I absolutely LOVE  having my family and friends  over for dinner.

Cooking is one of my passions  passed on to me by my mother, daddy, grandmothers, great-aunts, godmother, 

aunts and cousins.

I come from a family of very very  good cooks. 

My mom reminded me that when I was a little girl, I would stand next to her in the kitchen to watch her cook. My parents both worked when we were kids and at a young age I would prepare the family dinner when I got in from school.  

Cooking is part of who I am.

I recently retired and I am really excited to devote 

more time to my catering business.

I welcome the opportunity to cook for you and to make

or a small intimate affair for you and someone special.
